Controlled demolition is demolition with a plan behind it: we identify what's structural, what's not, and what needs protecting before anyone picks up a tool. That plan becomes a method statement everyone on site works to, so the job stays predictable from first strip to final clear-out.
It's often the first stage of a larger project — clearing the way for our own saw cutting, drilling or building work — so we sequence it to hand straight over to the next trade with the site safe and ready.

We identify structural elements, live services, and any suspected asbestos-containing materials before agreeing a method statement.
Isolate services
Power, water and gas are isolated or diverted as needed before work starts.
Protect what's staying
Dust sheeting, hoarding and temporary support go in wherever they're needed to protect the rest of the structure.
Break & demolish in sequence
Work follows the agreed sequence, not the fastest route through — using low-disruption methods wherever conventional breaking would cause unnecessary dust, noise or vibration.
Sort & clear
Arisings are segregated for recycling where possible and removed, leaving the site swept for the next trade.

Do you handle asbestos?
We identify suspected asbestos-containing materials and arrange removal through a licensed specialist before any demolition proceeds in that area — we don't remove ACMs ourselves.
Will you deal with waste disposal?
Yes, arisings are sorted and removed via licensed waste carriers as part of the job.
Can you demolish load-bearing walls?
Only with the appropriate temporary support or replacement steel confirmed by a structural engineer first — we won't remove structure without that in place.
